Our first APIR spotlight: Lina Kloub. Dr Kloub presents her ongoing work in the cross section of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Engineering Education in the School of Computer Science and Engineering. There will be a 15-minute discussion following the seminar to share experiences, successes, and shortcomings in our interactions with AI in the classroom.

AI is reshaping education, creating both opportunities and challenges for teaching and learning. This talk introduces a universal framework for integrating AI into courses across disciplines. The framework emphasizes clear usage guidelines, interactive and collaborative applications, career preparation, and critical reflection on AI’s limitations—ultimately enhancing student engagement, ethical awareness, and workforce readiness
