The Learning Specialists will provide students with tips for improving their organizational skills and time management. Students will engage in group discussion to identify challenges that they have personally faced with respect to effective time management. The goals of this session will include discussing and trying out strategies for completing tasks and achieving personal goals on time. These include the backwards planning method, time blocking, prioritization, and goal setting. Finally, students will learn how to create their own time management system, using either digital or physical tools for organizing time effectively.'

This video uses the last 20 minutes of time to give some ideas for studying effectively and managing your independent time as learners effectievly, once you transition into the clinical environment. The Learning Specialists discuss how to balance studying outside of the clinic, prepping for the clinic and making sure students are prepared to take clinical year written exams.
