In this series, we're exploring different Farm Hacks that our CT Farmers have put together and how they have benefitted their small businesses by increasing efficiency and keeping costs low. Some of these are influenced by products that are already out there, but some are brand new creations from our ingenious farmers.
At Foliota Farm, they're growing flowers on a small space, but wanted to be able to utilize the seedling starting and season extension abilities of a high tunnel. So they adapted an Eliot Coleman version of his mini hoop house and made it to fit the space they had. With just a couple items from the hardware store and a little know how, they put one together from scratch!
